Your first visit is an in-depth First Time Curl Service. We take the time to understand your hair, your current routine, and what you’d like to achieve.

You’ll receive a dry customised curl cut, cleanse, and style, along with guidance on how to care for and style your curls at home. It’s a relaxed, supportive experience designed to help you feel confident with your natural hair.

How long should I allow for my appointment?

Your first appointment can take up to 2 hours, allowing enough time for a thorough consultation, cut, and personalised education.

Returning appointments are usually shorter, depending on your hair and the service booked.

How do I secure my appointment?

A deposit is required to secure your booking. This ensures your appointment time is held just for you.

Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive all the details you need ahead of your visit.

What if I’m not completely happy with my cut?

Your comfort and confidence are really important. If you have any concerns after your appointment, please get in touch within 7 days so we can talk it through and make any adjustments if needed.

Absolutely. Many clients come in feeling unsure about how to manage their curls.

Where is your studio located?

It’s a calm, welcoming space designed for a one-on-one experience, so you can relax and enjoy your time while we focus on your curls.

How can I pay for my appointment?

Payment can be made on the day of your appointment. Details will be provided when you book.

How should I wear my hair to my appointment?

Please arrive with your hair clean, dry, and worn in its natural state. Avoid tying it up, brushing it out, or straightening it beforehand.

This allows me to see your natural curl pattern and create the most accurate cut for your hair.

What should I avoid before my appointment?

Try to avoid heavy oils, butters, or excessive product build-up before your visit, as this can affect how your curls behave and how your hair responds during the service.

If you’re unsure, just come as you are — we’ll work with what you have.

What products do you use?

I use professional products designed specifically for curly and textured hair. These support hydration, definition, and long-term curl health.

I’ll also talk you through what I’m using during your appointment so you can feel confident recreating your routine at home.

Will I learn how to style my curls at home?

Yes — education is a big part of what I do.

During your appointment, I’ll guide you through how to care for and style your curls step by step, so you leave feeling confident managing your hair day to day.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please allow as much notice as possible.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in your deposit being retained. This helps protect the time set aside for each client.
